DUN DUN DUN

Part One:

S is for Suspense.

You may be confused as to my reasoning behind the choice for this week's blog or where exactly this post is going. I have never done a two part blog post before but considering my day today, I thought it might be a fun way to explain the excitement. You also may be confused as to what is so suspenseful for me about Tuesday February 28th, a pretty average day for most I assume. But be patient, I promise I will explain.

Right now, I am currently sitting at my desk at AOL in downtown New York City where I intern with the AOL Brand Marketing team. You may be wondering what is so suspenseful about that. Well let me tell you. Since January (when I first began interning with this particular department at AOL), I helped to work on an ongoing project called MAKERS. MAKERS, an initiative between AOL and PBS, is a digital online experience that highlights the stories and experiences of remarkable women who have helped shape America through their bravery and determination.

As for why today's is such an exciting day:

Today is the day that MAKERS launches!

Sorry to say, I must leave now and go assist with today's Press Event for the website. As I have never attended or helped with such an event, I am extremely interested and suspenseful (haha) to see what will happen in the next two hours.

Until my return, check out the new website! Part two of this week's post will explain my experiences with the event and more about MAKERS.

DISCLAIMER: This post is not a marketing ploy that my boss (or anyone on the team put me up to), I am sincerely excited and thought it would be a great topic to blog about this week. :)
